Today the class continued practicing with the direct object pronoun.  The topic of the day was a review of tener, traer and conocer.   The assignment is in the Practice Workbook pages 1-9 and 1-10.

Today, the class continued practicing the vocabulary.  The topic of the day is comparisons and superlatives.  The assignment is in the Practice Workbook, sheets 1-6, 1-7.

Today we continued practicing the Chapter 1 Vocabulary.  The topic of the day was the verb salir and its different uses.  Today's assignment is in the Practice Workbook, sheet 1-5.

Today we continued practicing the Chapter 1 Vocabulary.  The assignment for today is in the Practice Workbook, pages 1-3, 1-4.

Monday, January 11

Today we distributed the workbooks and began Chapter 1.  The topic of the day is the Chapter 1 Vocabulary.  The assignment is to finish the vocabulary list from p 57 and to do the practice workbook pages 1-1 and 1-2.

Friday, January 8

The topic of the day was the use of gustar.  The assignment is a gustar worksheet.

Thursday, January 7

Today we continued practicing the present tense of verbs.  The topic of the day was the use of ser and estar. The assignment for tonight is a ser/estar worksheet.

Wednesday, January 6

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I had a meeting right after school.  The topic of the day was irregular verbs in the present tense.  The assignment was an -ir verb worksheet.

Tuesday, January 5

Today the class checked textbooks out of the library.  Students do not need to bring them to class for the time being.  I have a set for in-class use, but that could change.  The topic of the day was a review of subject pronouns and regular verbs.  The assignment is and -ar verb worksheet and an -er verb worksheet.

Happy New Year everyone!  Today I welcomed a new batch of students into my Spanish 2 class.  We went over the course syllabus and reviewed the alphabet in Spanish.
